The McLaren 765LT V8

The 765LT stands out as McLaren’s latest series-production supercar.

True to the brand’s DNA, this limited series perpetuates the illustrious legacy of the legendary F1 GTR Longtail «LT». Thanks to a perfect synergy between cutting-edge technology and a spirit of competition, McLaren has created an exceptional supercar, entirely focused on pure performance and on the experience on track and on the road.

How could it be otherwise with a supercar with 765 horsepower capable of reaching 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and 200 km/h in 7.2 seconds?

A direct derivative of the 720S, this model is the most powerful McLaren of all time.

Lowered and weighing 80 kg less, this latest LT model stands out for its exceptional aerodynamics and generates 25 % additional pounds of downforce compared to the 720S. Its chassis, both solid, rigid and ultra-lightweight, is paired with carbon fiber body panels that create a streamlined profile with great expressiveness. The entire package is complemented by polycarbonate windshield inspired by automotive sports and a four-out-tip titanium exhaust system. With a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 622 horsepower per ton, the LT relies on Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires to offer optimal grip in the corners. Under the hood, the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine produces 765 horsepower and delivers a maximum torque of 800 Nm. In the cabin, the same concern for purity: the seats of the P1, the sculpted carbon fiber and alcantara.

The The British supercar’s carbon fiber chassis is based on the Monocage II central structure. This technology offers extreme strength and rigidity while having a lightweight structure. Aluminum alloys are extensively used both in the chassis and for some body panels. This architecture plays a key role in the McLaren 765LT’s dry weight of 1,229 kg, but also in the available space in the cabin.

On the road, the 765LT benefits from McLaren Proactive Chassis Control II’s active chassis system. The Proactive Chassis Control active chassis, suspension and electro-hydraulic assisted steering work together to deliver unparalleled qualities, balance and performance as well as dynamic handling capabilities.
