The Lamborghini Miura P400

«This one utterly seduces me, with it we enter legend,» were the words of Ferruccio Lamborghini upon discovering the first sketches of his new car, revolutionary in many respects, both technically and aesthetically.

The Miura would revolutionise the history of Lamborghini and the automotive industry in general, establishing itself as the essential benchmark for performance, design and technical sophistication. Its exceptional character even led journalists to invent the term «Supercar», which was new at the time.

Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966, the P400 Miura, where «P» denotes the rear engine position («posteriore») and «400» refers to the 4-litre displacement, instantly became an instantly iconic and highly sought-after model. Orders quickly flooded in, pleasing both Ferruccio Lamborghini and Nuccio Bertone.

In total, 265 P400 Miura models were manufactured between 1966 and 1968, followed by 338 units of the P400 Miura S produced from 1969 to 1971, as well as 150 Miura SV models assembled between 1971 and 1973.

Our 1967 model, presented here, is highly sought after, boasting a yellow exterior with an all-black leather interior. This is an early version and shows very low mileage, under 50,000 km.
