The Ferrari 208 GTB V8 Turbo 1

The Ferrari 208 Gtb Turbo, which appeared in 1982, is a V8 Turbo-supercharged version of the Ferrari 208, presented in 1980. It is the two-seater coupé variant of the 308 Gtb/Gts, intended exclusively for the Italian market. 

It is the first Turbo Stradale Ferrari built during Enzo Ferrari's era and only 437 were made; some of them being extremely sought-after numbered examples.

Still affordable to purchase for a rare and avant-garde Ferrari, this 208 GTB Turbo, with its magnificent V8 sound, has lost none of its beauty, which is the work of Pininfarina. It remains a particularly radical, very high-performing and powerful machine with a spicy drive that is sportingly distinguished from the 208 and 308 by a row of satin-black louvres on the bonnet, NACA air intakes, a racing front bumper, sports suspension, a lowered chassis, a segmented and ventilated rear bumper, and a spoiler.

Its driving pleasure is immense and genuinely authentic. Far superior in sensations to the Ferrari 308, often compared to the F40 for its similarities and strengths but with the virtues of much greater versatility and ease of use, the Ferrari 208 Turbo is a historically incomparable machine. Its H-pattern gearbox with a very high lever, its driving position, its race-tuned suspension, its precision, its screaming engine note when warm, and the whoosh of the KKK turbo make driving it truly unique.
