The appellation \u00abFiorano\u00bb refers to Ferrari's private test track, the Fiorano Circuit, built in 1972 near Maranello, where the brand's cars are tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fiorano belongs to the \u00abGrand Tourisme Berlinette\u00bb (GTB) category, a term used by Ferrari for a two-seater sports car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appearing in 2006, it succeeds the Ferrari 575M Maranello launched in 2002, itself the successor to the legendary Ferrari 550 Maranello, introduced in 1996 and a major symbol of the brand's revival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 6.0 naturally aspirated V12, a top speed of 330 km\/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 3.7 seconds, the Ferrari 599 Gtb is equipped with ceramic brakes as standard and features an \u00abLC\u00bb mode for \u00ab Launch Control<\/em> \u00bboffering blistering acceleration without needing to modulate the throttle. As for the sound, it grabs you with every acceleration, a true symphony for enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remarkably successful on the Ferrari 360 Modena, the aerodynamics have once again been meticulously optimised, notably through air passages between the rear window and the uprights, thereby improving airflow. The new chassis, entirely in aluminium, integrates \u00abSpace Frame\u00bb technology which combines several assembly methods to reduce weight. The traction control system, named \u00abF1-Trac\u00bb and inspired by Formula 1, acts as a super anti-skid system, controlling the power transmitted to maximise grip during acceleration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
