The Porsche GT2 RS 3.8<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Discovering the ultimate 911, the aggression is total. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The obsession with aerodynamic efficiency is as pronounced as on race cars, with downforce figures of 312 kilos in road mode and 416 kilos in track mode. The GT2 RS weighs in at 1,470 kilos, and it's possible to shed 17 kilos by opting for the Weissach package, which adds a carbon fibre roof and other lighter components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assault continues as the left hand turns the ignition key. The flat-six coughs to life and settles into an idle that is as loud as it is deep, emanating from the titanium exhaust, more present and intimidating than the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre of a GT3. Starting up is easy, largely thanks to the perfection of the PDK7 dual-clutch gearbox, which is as comfortable in low-speed manoeuvres as it is under full load. The ambience on board is very 911 RS, an orgy of Alcantara and carbon fibre that looks stunning. Porsche extracts 750 Nm of torque from the 3800cc twin-turbo flat-six between 2500 and 4500 rpm, with peak power reaching 700 horsepower at 7000 rpm. The specific output is 184 horsepower per litre of displacement, a figure matched by the Ferrari 488 Pista.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porsche has remained true to its core engineering principles, with two variable-geometry turbochargers, but the leap compared to top-of-the-line 911s is enormous: +50 Nm and +80 hp compared to the 997.2 GT2 RS, +120 hp compared to the contemporary 991 Turbo S. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the discerning driver freed from budgetary constraints, the choice of the GT2 RS becomes passionately understandable in light of its performance and exclusivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our example presented here is quite simply the purest, most appropriately equipped... and finally the lowest mileage on the market with 3,576 km. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note its extension to the 36-month Porsche Approved Programme until 10\/2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
