The A presents the Lancia Flaminia Super Sport Zagato

The Lancia Flaminia Super Sport Zagato*

Among the Italian sports brands of the 1950s, Lancia holds a unique place. Discreet yet prestigious, it has forged an identity that blends elegance, luxury, performance, and technical innovation, between the influence of Ferrari and the passion of Alfa Romeo.

The Flaminia Super Sport Zagato embodies the pinnacle of the Lancia brand; a model originally conceived as an elegant sedan, beautifully designed by Pininfarina.

The Zagato version, recognizable by its sleek body and its famous «double hump» on the bonnet, came in three series. The first, called Sport, featured a body with headlights under globes, while the second, more discreet, featured a more classic front. The third series, the Super Sport, stood out for its refined grille and recessed headlights. On this model, the improvements were not limited to aesthetics: the 2.8-liter V6 equipped with three carburettors developed 152 hp. Thanks to its lightness, ensured by aluminum panels, the car reached 210 km/h, making the Flaminia the fastest.

Extremely rare, the Super Sport was manufactured in only 187 copies between 1964 and 1967.

Our magnificent example, of rare elegance, has been restored with exceptional craftsmanship by renowned artisans.

An exceptional version of a Lancia Zagato coupe, one of the rarest and most sought-after models.
