The successor to the Ferrari 488 GTB is unveiled on 28 February 2019, shortly before its public debut at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show.

The Ferrari F8 uses the same engine as the 488 Pista, namely the most powerful F154 V8 ever produced by Ferrari. This engine won the «Best Engine» award in the «International Engine of the Year» category in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Its maximum power is 720 hp at 7,000 rpm. It does 0-100 in 2.9 s; its top speed is 340 km/h.
