The A presents the Ferrari 365 Gtb/4 Daytona Plexiglass

The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 V12 Daytona Perspex

The Ferrari 365 Gtb/4 entered legend as the most powerful and fastest production sports car in the world at the time. It was nicknamed the Daytona by the media, in memory of Ferrari's historic triple victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967, with the Ferrari 330 P4 prototype piloted by Lorenzo Bandini and Chris Amon taking the win.

The V12-engined 365 GTB/4 Daytona, designed by Pininfarina designer Leonardo Fioravanti, is considered one of the brand's historical masterpieces.

Successor to the Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 California and 275 GTB, the Daytona is, like its predecessors, a classicly-designed, front-engined, rear-wheel-drive berlinetta, in line with Enzo Ferrari's vision of sports cars.

It adopts the modern style of a very short rear and a very long bonnet, with aluminium doors and bonnet. The front of the first 530 models (known as « Plexi »It is girded by a Perspex band, which accommodates four exposed, neatly profiled fixed headlights under the fairing, and overlooks an opening split by two half-headlights. A second, less elaborate series will be produced with retractable headlights for the American market.
